The Institute aims to attract well-qualified students desirous of pursuing scholarly studies. The educational program of the Institute is designed to stimulate independent thinking, acquisition of knowledge, and application of the acquired knowledge and skills to the solution of practical engineering problems.
The objective of the programs at the Institute is to provide a sound professional and academic training to students in the field of Civil Engineering. Students in the program have access to a variety of graduate courses in their area of study and the opportunity to conduct leading edge research, covering the theoretical and the applied aspects of civil engineering.
The Institute offers four graduate degree programs as follows:
- Master of Applied Science (with Thesis) — M.A.Sc.
- Master of Engineering (Project option) — M.Eng.
- Master of Engineering (Coursework option) — M.Eng.
- Ph.D.
